Hello!

It’s been a busy few weeks here and a lot of the crafts I have been working on I’m not able to share because they are of the super secret kind. I have managed to get 3 wips off the needles and I thought I’d share them with you.

Armley by Woollywormhead

Armley by Woollywormhead

The first is the lovely Armely Beret by Woollywormhead which was part of the MKAL in November. It is my hat but the toddler made a wonderful model after stealing it on me. The cables are beautiful and they grow seamlessly from the twisted ribbing. I opted for a double button instead of a pompom but I ¬†think I’ll be forgiven. This was so much fun from reading the boards to the pattern reveals, I just can’t wait until next year to see what Woolly has in store for the tenth annual MKAL! You can see more photos of my beret over here on Ravelry.

Tea and Sympathy

The next FO is a stylish tea cosy from SheKnitUpThatBall (akaRoseAnne). Tea and Sympathy has been a firm favourite in This Is Knit during the gift knitting season. I made this as a gift but my husband decided he liked it and the toddler helped to make the pompom so it joined the family. It’s a quick knit so I definitely recommend it.

Honeycomb Tea Cosy by Evin Bail O’Keeffe

My last FO is from the lovely Evin OK’s Bake Knit Sew. The Honeycomb Tea Cosy was a lovely relaxing knit. The pattern is intuitive and works up quickly. I somehow managed to confuse myself with all the running around with the kids but I managed a beautiful cosy in the end and I have to say the decreases in this pattern make a very beautiful top don’t you think:

Don’t forget you can grab a 10% discount on Bake Knit Sew patterns and These Islands patterns by Evin on Ravlery using the code CLN2016. We also have a copy of both books to give away on the comment section of the Podcast over here. All you have to do is tell me why you would like them. We also have a YouTube channel for the podcast. It’s new and is for those few requests we got to pop it up there.

How is your gift knitting season going? Do we have a lot of busy elves out there? Do you have any FO’s you can share?

Let me know in the comments.
