January 2018

There are quite a few things that are happening in 2018 and it is shaping up to be quite a year for the craft community, especially those of us here in Ireland. The very first MKAL of 2018 is by Cork-based designer, Carol Feller. In her ten years producing patterns Carol has never run a mystery knit-along despite having knit-alongs through the year. The Bubble Dash MKAL will be taking place over on the Stolenstitches Board on Ravelry here. Bubble Dash MKAL kits are here for those of you who want to nab those new shades of Nua, this is the perfect excuse.

Irish Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers have a Yarn Dyeing Workshop on the 27th of January. More information on www.weavespindye.ie or The Constant Knitter.  This workshop will be run by Yvonne who is the wonderful dyer behind the Dublin Dye Co. All information can be found on the above links.
