I couldn’t finish journal week on the blog without sharing some of the Instagram accounts that inspire me. I have quite a few journal crushes so it was really hard to whittle this down to just ten. All images are owned by the respective artists and are embedded directly from Instagram. You can follow each artist by clicking either their image or their heading as both will bring you directly to Instagram.

A Freckle A Day

I am always inspired by afreckleaday’s spreads on Instagram. The range from minimal to beautiful art spreads and the captions always lead me to other amazing artists too.

Archaic Noctuary

Tiia’s account is where I go when I want to drool over beautiful hand lettering and bold black and gold spreads. Tii’s account is on the quiet side so it always makes a dramatic (and warranted) entrance into your home feed. This one is definitely worth the follow.

Planning Jani

Jan posts the most beautiful spreads and videos on Instagram along with challenges. She is an amazing artist (just scroll through her feed until you see her Studio Ghibli drawings) but at the moment Jan is sharing some wonderful creative journal spreads. These have a vintage feel and make me think of rose gold and lace.

Blush and May

Christine My Linh is a beautiful artist with a whole host of YouTube videos that cover basics in drawing, watercolour, her monthly spreads and her journey into creating her own book. It’s impossible not to love her and her creations so pop over and fall in love with the story of the Bunny and the Bear through her spreads.

Amanda Rach Lee

Let’s face it Amanda has a wonderful engaged following on Instagram and You Tube and is so much fun to create with. She is the Queen of doodles and her followers inspire her as much as she inspires us. Her feed always feels like catching up with old friends and it has been a joy to follow along on her You Tube journey.

Max is someone I’ve been following for a while and I’m constantly in awe of her spreads. I always find her posts calming and I love her colour palettes. Max’s account can be summarised by beautiful photographs, honest journalling and fun captions with a sprinkling of BTS posts. (I might be a little old for the band references but I still love that she pops into my feed daily.)

Instant Printable

Aska is someone that I started to follow recently on Instagram thanks to the explore feature. Her January bear made me drool a lot. She is a beautiful lettering artist and has free prints over on her website. Her spreads are always clean and lean towards minimal with pops of colour.

JennyJournals

Jenny has some beautiful spreads along with a plan with me videos on YouTube and if you don’t have time to paint but want a journal like Jenny’s then you can purchase her spreads on Etsy too. She is inspiring with her use of watercolour, Procreate, lettering and honest journal entries.

Bella Rica Design

Rica has a very feminine romantic journal filled with pink, roses and lace. Her spreads are always unique and true to her. Her spreads are usually inked drawings with a distinctly feminine feel to them.

Sosha Creates

Sosha is a magical artist that integrates watercolour into her spreads in a way that I could only hope to recreate. Her colour palette along with the moon as her subject keeps me coming back to her account again and again. Her account is definitely worth following and you will find yourself falling in love with the moon goddess too.

Which Instagram journal accounts are your favourites? Who’s lettering do you love or who’s captions inspire you? Share your favourites below in the comments so we can all find them too. Those accounts above are a mix of bullet and creative journals each lending their own inspiration and magic to my own journal. They always bring a smile to my face and I’m very glad that they continue to share their work online.

Thank you so much for joining me for Journal Week on the blog it has been so much fun getting to know you all.
