With all the whirlwind of excitement yesterday I realised that this blog post never got out to you. So much is happening right now I really don’t know where to start other than to say, baby, February is going to be f-u-n.
Yesterday saw the launch of the VIC (Very Important Craft) section of the website. After toying with the idea of VIK (Very Important Knitter) I realised that I’m not *just* a knitter. I weave, I crochet (ok not amazingly well but I do) and I use a drop spindle. Although I won’t be winning any prizes for those last two, they still are a part of what I do here at the cottage.
Also, I write and it is a part of my creative side that is coming out more and more and I wanted to share that but in a way that I still felt I was in control. From this, the VIC area was born. Yes, the area is completely free and all you have to do is sign up to the monthly newsletter and you will get your code in the confirmation mail.
What’s in it for you?
At the moment, there is a nice collection of interviews in a dynamic flipbook giving you a glimpse of what is in store. From February 1st, a new code will be sent out with the monthly newsletter and there will be interviews going live on the blog but the full-length features and premium discounts will only be available to VIC members. There are pattern & yarn discounts and members will have access to exclusive content first.
What type of content? Well, that would be telling and I’m going to make you wait a week. So what are you waiting for? Click on the quill and come join the fun!
